“Fanfare for the Winners” for YYPA 2023 Ensemble utilizes an unfamiliar instrumentation, exploring many timbres and possibilities. The piece is for a collaborative weekend event celebrating young performers across the United States. The members of the 2023 Ensemble include: Subin Cho (Flute), Yunze Shao (Clarinet), Brian Kachur (Saxophone), Simon Hwang (Saxophone), Jonathan Salcedo (Trombone), Justin Gruber (Tuba), Christian Snedeker (Drum Set), David Wang (Percussion), Jory Lane (Violin), and Meihui An (Piano).
